I only see a listing for one burner. The CGR3742ADC has two 12,000 and two 9,200 burners. Do you sell both? Also, do you have a link for guide for replacing the burners? Thanks, RT
Answer Hello RT! The manufacturer only provides one burner assembly for your model, part number 3412D024-09. This is used as all four burner assemblies on model CGR3742ADC. Disconnect power going to the range. The burner heads will twist off. Remove the wiring and attach to the new burner and twist the new burner back on. Hope this helps. Thanks.
I ordered new burner assembly part #3412DO24-09 hooked up the two wires and no spark so put it on one of the working burners and still no spark got the other new one I bought but the same results. When I put the other burner head from a working burner to the one I am trying to replace it works, so sure I have gas and spark not sure what to do next.
Answer Hello Shirley, what you're describing is a little odd. Considering the new burner comes with a new ignitor we can rule out the ignitor as being the issue. It almost sounds as though the burner doesn't have a good ground to the chassis of the range. That's what the wire from the burner itself is doing, not the one that is going to the ignitor. Is the surface good and clean where the ground wire is attaching? On your model whenever you turn on any one of the burner valves every ignitor should spark, but only the one you turn on will light because that is the only one that has gas coming out of it. If it's not a ground issue than we're down to either a problem with the ignitor switch being the issue 7403P367-60 or the spark module, which unfortunately is showing as being discontinued by the manufacturer. It doesn't really sound like a module problem though. Hope this is some help.
Please I need this Electric burner new. My own is bad and can not be heated up ,the four unites are bad
If the unit has solid burner elements in it then the elements have been discontinued by the manufacturer with no suitable replacement available.
