I've got a 10 year old dishwasher. It stopped getting dishes clean. I cleaned the food grinder for the first time and that seemed to fix this problem. Now I need to clean the grinder about once per week and it's always completely clogged. After I clean it, it works great for a few days. I suspect the pump needs to be repaired and was looking at this part: W10239405 Does that include a new food grinder? I would also need to replace this part because the flap valve stays open 8539167. So I'm looking at around $200. Do you think it's worth the money to fix a 10 year old 665.16483300 dishwasher or should I put the $200 toward a new one?

Hello, I was not getting the top rack clean, so I tore apart the whole dishwasher and cleaned everything. This worked for about a month, now neither the top rack or bottom rack is getting clean. Where do I start? Does this indicate a bad motor, pump seal, water inlet valve? Any help is much appreciated! Thank you!

While running my dishwasher, water flows out of the sprayer but it does not seem to be spraying up. It all just falls down, almost like there is not a whole lot of pressure. Since this is happening the top rack does not get washed. It is also more quiet since this has been happening. I was just wondering what part is not working properly. I have taken the dishwasher apart and cleaned out everything and this did not help at all.

Hello. I have a cherry pit lodged in the circulation pump assembly. I can see the pit and tried to fish it out with long tweezers but can't get ahold of it. How do I remove the cover so I can get at the debris? I removed the 3 top screws but still can't quite figure out how to remove the cover. Thanks for your help!

My DW would not run a complet cycle and made a noise when it was trying to work.I took out the grinder blade and screen and cleaned it as it was clogged with lots of stuff. Once clean, the blade and screen appeared to be fine so I replaced it and put the machine back together. Now the machine will complete the washing cycle now but few if any of the dishes get clean. Is it possible that the pump motor is shot?
