The dishwasher has started making a whining sound throughout the wash and rinse cycles. What could be the problem? The dishes are clean at the end.

I just bought and installed a Circulation Pump and Motor Assembly from Appliance part pros last night. As I reinstalled the thermistor I noticed it was fairly loose after installing and twisting it into the locking position. There was some mention about the new unit I purchased Monday having a smaller thermistor housing or something. I am wondering how my thermistor is potentially loose with a smaller housing. In my old unit is was also not very snug as far as fit went either. My question is if I order a new replacement will this new one fit into the new circulation pump assembly with out any issues and not leak? If there are two different sizes when ordering how does one tell which one is the correct one to order? Thank you

May I have a list of the actual individual part numbers the Circulation Pump and Motor Assembly (Part Number AP4434617) includes when shipped? As a second question, I've noticed some repair folks recommend replacing the whole assembly. How hard is it to replace just the impeller and what are the indications of a bad motor?

Dishwasher is not getting dishes clean and heating element seems to be very hot during wash (more steam than usual coming from door vent, "sizzles" if I open the door mid-cycle and water hits it). Never really paid attention to how hot it gets before so this might be normal. Also, seem to be running slightly louder than normal with a "swoosh" sound every 3-4 seconds. Again, don't really pay attention to the sound when it works so this may always be the case! Drains fine. Not sure if its a temp control issue with the heating element that is steaming away the water, or a circulation pump issue that is not putting enough water on the heating element.

My dishwasher makes a loud sound similar to bearing failure while running. When I pulled it out I noticed a small amount of water under on the floor. I am assuming the seals are shot and I gusee at this point the motor bearings as well. Can you let me know which parts I should order? Does the seal come with the pump motor assembly. Please let me know which part numbers.

To replace pump module assembly (P/N 14) can you do this without removing dishwasher from under cabinet if you can access plumbing underneath?

Our dishwasher all of a sudden stopped draining. I found the drain valve torn and I replaced it. Same issue. I tested the drain pump and with my ohm meter across the two terminals it reads 0 on the Rx1 scale. The impeller turns fine with slight resistance so I assume it is ok. Also I ran it detached from the housing. Water drains out the bottom if I remove the hose and I blew all the hoses out with air. I haven't found anything restricting in the sump either. Water seems to fill fine. Any other thoughts?
