I purchased a Part Number: AP4009447 (timer/clock/oven controls) and in one of your answers previously on how to disassemble, you said to "Lift the main top by releasing the two clips under the front corners." How do you release the two clips?

My clock display intermittently goes blank. Everything else still works. If I press on the display it sometimes comes back on (see Aaron question above), or it may eventually come back on by itself. Sounds like a bad or dirty contact. What do you suggest?

The small plastic "pusher" behind the up arrow behind the white faceplate on the Robertshaw oven control board broke off and fell into the control panel. All other plastic pushers and the control board work well. Any ideas as to how I could replace the plastic piece with a modification that would allow the "up" arrow to be depressed and operate smoothly? (Without buying an entirely new control panel.)

We spoke early in regards to ap4009447. Do you know which of the three connectors, either the 5, 6 or 8 pin is responsible for powering the display? I don't have the tools to test the connectors (on the wire coming from my stove) and would rather not have to replace all three if I do not have to. Thanks - Aaron

I purchased part #ap4009447 ( timer/clock/oven controls ) for my magic chef oven. It has three pin connectors on the back. Which pin connector is responsible for the display ? My old ap4009447 required you to push on the front of it to see the display which led to f7 failure. The new ap4009447 is doing the same thing leading me to believe one of the connectors is not quite right. Thanks

F-5 keeps coming up on screen of clock assembly. When reset it works for about an hour an comes back. Also self cleaning button does not work (yes the lock is on) (smile) Already replaced temperature switch. Clock assembly only thing I have not replaced.

The digital display went out on my Kenmore oven - (it seems the entire control panel - clock display and push keys do not work) - This makes the oven be unable to turn on. This appears to be my exact display - will replacing this fix the problem or is it in some other control panel that needs to be replaced? The burners on the stove top still function perfectly. Thanks -
