Washer does not drain on final rinse ( 2 out of 3 times) . At end of cycle there is water in the tub. Could this be the timer?
Answer Hello Sal,
You should first check you drain pump. Ensure that the pump is not jamming and also that there is nothing clogged in the pump. You can check to see if the pump will spin freely by tilting unit back and take the belt off. Once belt is off turn the pump 35-6780 and see if it moves freely or is binding.
Could I use timer part #27001113 in place of this one? #22003371
Answer Hello Phil, for the model number supplied you will want to use 22003371. We do not show that the part number you question is compatible with your unit. Thanks!
Washer goes thru wash cycle & spins. Have to move timer to rinse cycle to make it continue. Even then once in a while it does not won't to go back into spin.
Answer James, First check and make sure your lid switch assembly 22003804 is properely operating and adjusted, check and make sure the loading lid hinge pins and bushings aren't worn out or damaged 22002753 22002751 and the lid itself has not been bent in/down. Then consider the timer. Thanks and Good Luck
Washer fills and agitates but stop for a good time before going to rinse and No spin. When cycle is complete, I hear the motor but the drum does not spin. Can it be the belt or the timer switch?
Answer Hello Eddy. You will need to check the thrust bearing 12002213 and see if it is properly releasing the brake assembly. You can turn the pulley by hand to test this. If it is not, you will need to replace the thrust bearing kit. Hope this helps.
