Washer filled normally but then would not go into wash cycle. I removed clothes, drained water with shop vac. Everything seems to be normal. Lid switch has probably gone bad and or timer switch has failed. What else do you recommend?

When the machine is loaded in the whites cycle, it fills and continues to proceed through all wash, rinse, and spin cycles but does not spin and empty the water out. But when ran on the colors cycle it works just fine. Is the timer in need of replacing?

My washer on delicate cycle will fill with water but won't always spin out the water , if I manually turn dial to a rinse cycle it will spin and remove the water. My wife said it did it last night on color cycle as well. Will a new timer help this issue?

Propblem 1, The agitator is not working but the tub is spinning. Problem 2, The water does not drain in the rinse cycle but it drains after wash and if the timer knob is set to extra rinse. Are these separate issues or related?

Model # MAV6257AWW. The washer start of ok but will not drain. You have to turn the dail to another rinse or still cycle to get it to work. Now the whole thing stopped and it smells like something electrical is burning. the dail make a clicking noise. I open the dail pannel and checked the wires if anything fell off and I can smell the burning smell when I put it back together the machine started working again but it smell like the elec part is burning.

Washer fills and agitates but stop for a good time before going to rinse and No spin. When cycle is complete, I hear the motor but the drum does not spin. Can it be the belt or the timer switch?
