No power going to washer. Code was reading F71, replaced user interface board still does not work. Ran a test, codes given was C00 and F70. How do we test to see if CCU is good. When you plug the washer in there is no sound.

Answer Hi Parker. F70 code =If a Central Control Unit Heartbeat Failure is displayed, no communication is detected from the Central Control Unit (CCU) to the User Interface. Possible Causes/Procedure Check for continuity of the User Interface harness. Check wire harness connections to the User Interface and the CCU. Replace User Interface if drum is rotating. Replace Central Control Unit if drum is not moving. F71 code=If a Central Control Unit Heartbeat Failure is displayed, no communication is detected from the User Interface to the Central Control Unit. User interface control is part # W10248065. Main control board is part # W10248067. The C:00 is the door lock code. Check the door lock system and the wires going to the parts for tight connections. This part is part # 8183270. It is a common issue that you may end up needing both elect. devices since they are feeding one another information. Possible Causes/Procedure Check for continuity of the User Interface harness. Check wire harness connections to the User Interface and the Central Control Unit. Replace User Interface if drum is rotating. Replace Central Control Unit if drum is not moving. Thank You.

When the washer is plugged in, door shut, select cycle, press on the panel lights up, press start nothing happens. No error codes no sounds, press cancel lights shut off. Could it be the door lock?

Answer Hello Joe. Test and see if there is power coming to the door lock 8182634 when the start button is pressed. If no, it sounds like the control 8181905 is bad and may need to be replaced. When door is closed, timer light is on and control light, but when you press start, it will not start. The door is completely closed. Is the problem with the door switch or the control board? Need help wife need me to fix asap.

Answer Hello Joe. Test and see if the control is sending power to the door lock assembly. If not, you will need to replace the electronic control 8182785. Have a whirlpool duet front loader It started like there was no power after checking the breakers and plug.I changed the ccu and got power back on. When starting the cycle it ran for about 3 min and now I am getting a F H error. Whitch is water level. Now it has water in it and will not do any thing lights up timer is on but will not start door will not open I can hold cancle and it will power off but the door will not unlock and it will not go into a sipn/Drain or nothing can u help me please. I have had more trouble out of these than what they are worth. I have 2 kids and a husband, I also work full time I do not have time for the laundry mat PLEASE HELP?

Answer Hello Debra. Check and make sure the wires are connected good in the unit. If so, and the code continues, you will need to replace the pressure switch W10514214. Hope this helps.

The only lights that light up are the delayed wash and extra rinse. When I unplug it I hear it click in the ccu but nothing on the control pad works or lights. Can I do any checks on it? Dont know if its the ccu or the pad ?

Answer Hi Todd. Remove power . Remove top and back cover. Inspect all buttons door switch , fill hoses, inlet valve screens, all connections, door switch. Access the Tech sheet folded inside in a cover. Are any buttons stuck? The ccu is part # 8182221. Thank you.

The part number you shown is 8182695, but the part number on my Bitron Control shows el:20711 or 857008297000. Did they change part numbers and will the new 8182695 work?

I recently had a F11 error code on my Whirlpool Duet washing machine. After reading I knew it was 1 of 3 components. It was either the CCU, MCU or Motor. I ordered the CCU nope did not fix the problem so I ordered the MCU and motor from you. I changed the MCU and the washer now works perfectly. My Tech question is as follows. If this happens again how do I know if it is the CCU, MCU or the motor. I have an OHM meter so this should be easy to check but not exactly sure where to check it at. If you could provide this information it might help in people not buying and returning parts they dont need like I did. Your customer service department is top notch very helpful and friendly. Your prices are great and my overall experience with your company has been a 5 star experience.

Answer Hello Chris. The best way to tell which part is bad, is to test for power. You will test for power at the motor. If there is none, then you got to the MCU. If there is power coming to the MCU, but not out of the MCU, you will need to replace the MCU. If no power is coming to the MCU, you will replace the CCU. Hope this helps.

Answer Hello Ted. You will need to test and see if your getting power to the lock assembly 8182634. Answer Hello. The DL error on Whirlpool unit's is typically either a door lock failure 8182634, or a failed CCU board 8182695. These parts can be tested using a multi meter TJMA-DM1. F11 on my duet comes on I unplug washer, it works for awhile. Then comes back on.

Communication between the Central Control Unit (CCU) and the Motor Control Unit (MCU) cannot be sent correctly.
