I want the part W10207861.
How much is the shipping for Puerto Rico?
Agnes for Model Number JCD2295KES
Answer Hello Agnes. The cost of shipping that part going to Puerto Rico, would be $19.95.
Replaced start components last year got through season. Then they burned up and comp drawing 20 plus amps so replaced it. Still wouldn't run. Suggested to replace control board so did. Not working yet. Tried to bypass temperature sensor and defrost terminator still nothing. What am I missing? This unit is in a motor home and is impossible to replace! Please help me!

Answer Hello Rtroth,
If the compressor is drawing more than 20 amps, if you have changed the compressor, The sealed system has a restriction. Most of the time this will occur at the heat exchange assembly or the evaporator coil. The best way to check for this is by recovering the freon from the system and blow nitrogen through the individual coils and tubes. This can easily be accomplished with a process tube adaptor kit. This of course should be done by a freon certified technician because of the freon handling laws.
My Kenmore model 59676592600 periodically heats up in both the freezer and refrigerator section. We have found, by chance, that unplugging the unit for about 30 minutes solves the problem. Once plugged in, the fridge is fine for a day or two. Research on the internet makes me think this is a defrost timer problem. Can you confirm this diagnosis and let me know if the defrost timer is on the AP4358837 electronic control board? Any assistance is much appreciated. Thanks
John for Model Number 59676592600
Answer Hi. The defrost circuit is controlled through the defrost thermistor part # 12002355, 10,000 ohms tolerances sending information to the control board part # W10207861. This control will allow the defrost cycle to begin after approx. 6 hrs for up to 25 minutes or when the defrost thermostat part # 67003426 mounted on the evaporator upper coils) to open because the defrost heater part # 67002493 has heated up past 45° or what the defrost thermostat is preset to. So there are 4 main devices that allow the defrost cycle. In my opinion it is the combination of the defrost thermostat and the defrost control board. Use a volt/ohm meter part # TJMA-DM1 to assist you in your diagnostics. Find the wiring diagram and user tech. sheet to put the unit into a diagnostic mode to explain the fault codes. Thank You.
I had the Control board replaced numerous times under extended warranty over the last 7 years. The new boards always end up failing and I lose all function control of temperature, door alarm etc. Curently out of warranty and needing to replace the board again. Why do these boards keep failing? I can replace myself easily, but for 178 per board I would like more assurance it will last more than a few weeks. Reminds me of the magnetron on my GE built in microwave that died every 6 months for 5 years until GE offered us a discount on a new unit.

Answer Hello Juan,
The quality and design of the machine was entirely the responsibility of the manufacturer and as far as telling you why a specific electronic board on your unit keeps failing, I would either have to be a fortune teller or a liar. The fact is, if it is man made, it is prone to failure. The more complicated the design of the circuit, the higher the likelihood of a failure.
I know I haven't been much help up until now, but I can make you a promise. If you order a part from us and it fails in the first 365 days, (one full year from the date of order), we will replace the part without a charge for the part. The only fee due would be the shipping. And yes, this does include ANY part you order from us, even electronic parts. You also have a full year to return any part you don't want, even if it has been installed. So you see, there isn't a lot of chance on your part in doing business with us.
My fruits and vegetales start to freeze if, they are in the drawers....... By your experience, the Technician said I need to change this part of the Refrigerator but didn't give the part number, so do you think it can be this User Control and Display Board? It also doesn't work either if I want to move the temperature up or down (on the digital display). It's just working direct. Lights are on but doesn't move at all, unless I open the refrigerator and leave it open, it starts to move down the temperature. I have a picture in case you want to see the lights on (Freezer -3 and Refrigerator 44) One red light from the digital display is on.........
Gladys for Model Number MFD2561KES
Answer Gladys, You may have two issues, the frozen vegetables, could be due to an air flow problem, remove the crisper pans and check the air return tunnels in the rear corners of the fridge floor for debris, blockage or ice in the openings, check and make sure the bottom of the door seals are sealing to the front flange when the doors are closed. If you cannot manually adjust the temperatures then you will need the control board W10207861. Thanks and Good Luck
Is there a video on how to install a electric control board? Thanks.
Mike T. for Model Number 596.76602600
Answer Hello Mike! No, there does not seem to be a video available on how to install the electronic control W10207861. However, here are some instructions I have located: Remove the light shield by sliding shield to rear to release the cover. Depress with a screw driver through two slots in the front of the light housing to release the control board housing. The control board housing will drop down to expose the control board. Remove the wiring to the control board. Release the tabs holding the control board to the housing. Reinstall in reverse order. Hope this helps!
