The control for the freezer does not react when I turn it and the cold control is not working properly. Is there a kit to replace both controls?
The freezer control only operates the damper that is on the left wall at the rear of the refrigerator compartment and allows less or more cold air to come into the refrigerator compartment and keep more or less in the freezer. If the refrigerator thermostat is causing problem then you would only need to replace the cold control for the refrigerator 2198202.
Refrigerator is not cooling.
Answer Hello Juan. You need to check and see if there is a clicking noise coming from the compressor area. If so, the relay starter may be bad. Freezer is cold, refrigerator section is warm and damper is not blowing cold air.
Answer Hello John,
You will want to check the air vent on the side wall down near the snack pan. Make sure vent is not clogged. If vent clogged you will need to clean it out. If this checks ok then you will want to check the rear freezer wall for frost. Remove the back wall of freezer compartment and check to see if evaporator is impacted by frost. If it is then do a continuity check on the defrost heater 2323198 and defrost thermostat W10225581. If these check ok then you would need to replace defrost control W10366605
