Received 8201769 for compressor EMU60 and hooked it up. Immediately after plugging the refrigerator back in, overload protector sparked and smelled like hot plastic. Any ideas? Bad compressor drawing too much power? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looking at part 8201769 or AP3961332. The paperwork for this unit says EGY60, EGY70 & EMU60 ONLY. Yet when I type in my appliance model number this says it's compatible. The compressor in Whirlpool is EMY 60HSC. Something doesn't seem right. Am I looking at the wrong part? Wrong instructions?

Ordered relay switch for refrigerator. Did not receive the pictured part on the website: http://www.appliancepartspros.com/Appliance-Parts/whirlpool-compressor-start-device-kit-item-number-ap3961332.aspx Appears to be the parts that go inside the pictured casing. 2 issues: 1) appears to need special tool to open the casing 2) appears the part doesn't line up as would be needed to fit in ther casing.
