I am having problems with my Whirlpool refrigerator/freezer. All of a sudden the freezer doesn't freeze and the refrigerator doesn't get cold enough. I had a couple of guys look at it and after looking at the coils in the freezer side and seeing that they were frosted up at the bottom but not any further up they said it was the compressor. I think I can hear it running. What do you think? Any suggestions?

Compressor making a very loud vibration noise every so often and can last for up to 30 seconds. Can make it stop sometimes by jostling the fridge a bit. Everything is cooling properly, so wondering if something may have come loose or some anti-vibration things have worn out??? I am guessing this could go on for years if I could stand the noise! Any thoughts or things I could check to make sure they are tight? I can't believe the entire compressor would have to be replaced to cure this problem(or am hoping this is the case, anyway). What do you all think? Thanks!

My freezer on my fridge is not freezing. I've notice that when the compressor turns on, it stays on for only 5 seconds and then shuts off. It will turn on again after 2-3 minutes for 5 seconds and stop again. Help me?

Hello I have a few parts ordered under model / serial gs6shaxmb00 SP3755894 WPL AP3131713 (2169373) Run capacitor WPL AP3962960 (2319792) START-DEV we then were suggested to order this WPL AP3083556 (4387835) Compressor starting device The fan works but the compressor doesn't kick on at all. Checked the device it does rattle so we ordered to replace it. I have a analog multi-meter is there a way to test the compressor these parts aren't fixing the issue. Not sure if I should use thisWPL AP3083556 (4387835) at all. Or do I need different parts all together?

There is only 2 terminals on the white capacitor. The over load protector plugs into the capacitor. The terminals are not marked for proper polarity. Which one is hot and neutral.
