My stand alone ice maker is working great, except that it will not stop producing ice. It just keeps running until you switch it to "off". I pulled the bin thermostat and the ice control thermistor, and tested each with a meter. Both seemed to be working fine with resistance ratings varying based on temperature, and in the range of resistance values found on other posts. Should I try replacing these two (less expensive) parts anyway? Is there any other wiring (such as between the thermistor plus and the board) that I should check? If not, should I assume I have a bad control board? Thanks.

My ice maker continues to make a slab of ice until I manually shut it off. It will eventually make a slab so thick that the water coming over the slab misses the return trough and goes into the ice bin. What is the most likely cause of this problem?

My under cabinet ice maker has had problems on and off that I have been able to troubleshoot and fix, but today, it simply turned off. I have power at the receptacle, but nothing in the unit at all……no light, water circulation, nothing! I verified that there were no tripped breakers and power at the receptacle, but the unit is dead. Control board? Transformer? Please help!!!! Rob
