Dishwasher will fill but will not wash or drain. Took apart cleaned and check motor to make sure it turned. Once unit has filled the wash light is on but nothing will happen. Disconnected plug to motor and tested for voltage but there was none. Put dishwasher in wash cycle and tested voltage across all four wires. The voltage would jump briefly but would go back to nothing. Can't seem to determine whether it is the control board, motor or some other fuse. Thanks.

On Sunday I asked the following: Dishwasher stopped in the middle of a cycle. No control panel lights are lit. Control panel pushbuttons do nothing. I verified that there is power to the machine and to the electronic module, and that the thermal fuse has continuity. What's the most likely place to look next? Carl N for Model Number KUDS24SE ANSWER Hello Carl. Based on the information you provided, the thermal fuse 675796 may be bad on the unit. You will need to check and see if it is bad. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, June 19, 2013 As I stated in my original question, the thermal fuse tests less than one ohm. Do you have another suggestion? Carl

Hi, when I start my dishwasher, the clean light AND the cancel light, light up and stay on constantly. The dishwasher does start up, but never fills with water (I do see a small amount in the base). After a couple of minutes the washer stops with the clean and the cancel light on. Is this a control board problem ?? Thanks John

When any of the cycle buttons are pushed, the dishwasher's display lights but the dishwasher does nothing. After the usual amount of time it takes to complete the cycle, the display light turns off. I tried pushing the "Normal" cycle button, waited a few minutes, then pushed the "Cancel" button. The dishwasher does nothing; but after pushing the "Cancel" button, a few minutes later the display light turns off (as though the dishwasher has completed canceling the cycle). Thank you in advance for your assistance.

When we push the normal wash button to start the dishwasher, the light comes on but the dishwasher doesn't. Is it possible the control panel has gone bad?

A service has told us we need a new control board for our Whirlpool dishwasher. I am wondering if we need to order a new fuse too? The one in there tests good. Does the control board come with instructions to attach wires where they belong?

My dishwasher was in mid cycle and stopped. Water in bottom, and no lights show up on the control panel. Tried breaker. Tried unlocking it, but still no lights and not working. Did smell a burning.
