The control lock will not release. The button is not stuck. If the unit is unplugged for several hours the light may be off when plugged back in but it will come back on after one cycle is complete.

Dryer will stop and show an F70 error code - from what I can gather this is a communication problem between component electronics and control electronics - is there a way to determine which one is at fault before I order the necessary component? thanks

The "control locked" indicator light is intermittently lit, and the control panel won't respond. I hold the cancel and start buttons and the light sometimes goes out, then the dryer seems to function normally. I also think the vent tubing has a lot of built up material and needs to be cleaned. Are these symptoms somehow related?

Electric dryer does not tumble. All controls light up as normal. When I press the START button, I hear a loud click, but the dryer does not start. Dryer heats up. I thought it was the motor, so I ordered a new one and installed it, but the results are the same. Tested the broken belt switch continuity - it functions normally. How do I know if the control board is the problem?
