The flip tines on the bottom rack of my dishwasher are badly. Rusted and I would like to find replacements.
Unfortunately for your unit the flip tines for your unit are not showing as being available without the purchase of the lower rack.
Need replacement handle and flip tines for top rack. Maytag mdb8600aww. Thank you.
Answer Hello Cindyjkb! Unfortunately, the flip tines for the top rack have been discontinued and are no longer available for purchase. The door handle comes with the latch assembly in a kit as part number W10130694. Thanks!
I need to replace both lower flip tines, do I need to order two kits for both left and right sides?
I need to replace upper dish rack flip tines, do I need to order two to replace both right and left sides?
Answer Hello Bentley! Yes, for the lower rack flip tines you will need to order the convertible tine kit 12002750 to obtain the two tines and the clips. Unfortunately, the original upper rack tines are no longer available and the manufacturer has supplied bad replacements which will not work on your appliance. Thank you for your inquiry.
This unit is about 6 years old. Works great, but parts need replacing. Need flip tines for both dishracks (upper and lower). Don't see the parts on the website. The flip tines kit shown does not match my current parts. Please advise.
Answer Hello Bill! The tines listed for the middle rack have been discontinued with no replacements available. For the upper rack use 99003496 for the right and left side tines. For the fold away tine pivot use 99002709 and for the fold away tine latch use part number 99002710. Thanks!
I need taller tines for bottom rack. New dishes won't stand up.
Answer Hello Melanie! Unfortunately, we can only suggest the tines that came equipped with the appliance from the manufacture. We are not able to suggest any other tines. Sorry.
How do you install the part? Are there instructions?
Answer Colin, No there are no instructions, it's not that hard to do. the tine retainer has a "clip" in one end and an open slot in the other. you snap the clip end onto the bottom rack rung and the slotted open end onto the corresponding rack rung, also make sure the cover in the middle of the retainer is coverring the opposing bottom rack rung. Insert the tine assemblies in the round openings on the upper area of the retainer, with the "hooked" end of the assembly in the flexible opening on the opposite side of the retainer, with both tine assemblies installed in the first retainer install the remaining retainer on the rack. We hope this was helpful and Thanks
