The freezer compartment has a lot of frost near the top front. It has always been frost free. Also the ice maker front cover is broken. Could this be the problem?
Answer Hello Tom,
The frost is an indication that the door seal is not sealing properly. The room humidity coming into the unit is condensing and freezing, forming the frost. You need to check the door strike and seating of the seal around the frosted area. If it cannot be adjusted or heated with a hair dryer to conform properly, you will have to replace the door seal. The door seal is listed under the model number from the units' I.D. tag, which should be verified since the model number you posted is not coming up as valid. You can verify the model number and re-post or call us directly 24-7 at 1-877-477-7278 and our representatives will be happy to look up the part number for you.
The on off switch cover on the freezer door is cracked. The switch works ok, but will this cover work?
Answer Hello Scott. This is the icemaker cover. The dispenser cover for your model has been discontinued. Thanks.
