I have a LSQ9010pw3 washer. My problem is that the washer did not drain all water out the other night. I have disassembled complete washer and I think I tested pretty much everything. I checked all hoses tub and pump for clogs. The pump is new. I removed the transmission and spun it with a drill both ways. It seems to be functioning properly. Only thing is that when the machine goes to drain the motor will not turn until it goes to spin cycle so I'm thinking that the neutral drain in transmission is bad. I just removed the motor and pulled out the motor-trans coupler and then reinstalled the motor. The reason I did that was to see if the motor without turning anything else would pump water. It barely pumps water at all.

How do I test the motor and the capacitor to see if they are bad? You suggest that I replace the motor with your motor ap2907974. Do I still need to use the capacitor on that motor? Will the wiring harness fit without modification?

My Whirlpool washer can still agitate, but does not drain. I have checked that the lid switch is OK and the pump is rotating smoothly with no blockage. I just took out the motor and found it is FSP part#8528157, the same as shown in your picture. The resistance measurement readings between 6 wires of my motor are as follows: Black (BK) to Yellow (Y) wires: 8 omh Black (BK) to all other 5 wires: open Purple (V) to White-Black (W-BK) wires: 2.5 omh Purple (V) to Blue (BU) wires: 3 omh Purple (V) to Yellow (Y) wires: open Purple (V) to White (W) wires: 2.5 omh White-Black (W-BK) to Blue (BU) wires: 1.5 omh White-Black (W-BK) to Yellow (Y) wires: open White-Black (W-BK) to White (W) wires: 0 omh Blue (BU) to Yellow (Y) wires: open Blue (BU) to White (W) wires: 1.5 omh Yellow (Y) to White (W) wires: open I am wondering if my motor is bad for driving the pump to drain? Thanks a lot! Xi

I have a motor # 3951550 with a two wire module mounted on it. One leads to the motor switch, the other to the winding. The side leading to the winding is burnt at the terminal and wire. Can I buy just that module? Mumbers on it are 0851 T-O-D , 20ME08NE , 829. The initial problem was burning smell and sluggish spin cycle.
