Do you have a video to replace the dispenser?
Answer Hello John. No, we are working daily at adding new videos, but we do not have one at this time. Thank you.
What model number do I need for a soap dispenser replacement part?
Answer Kathleen, the dispenser listed for your model is part number W10195172. Thanks.
The soap dispenser door latch seal and latch is bad. Do I have to replace the whole dispenser to change just the door latch and "o" ring?
Answer Hello Robert,
I'm sorry but the manufacturer has made this part W10195172, and all of the parts related to it, unavailable without ordering the complete assembly.
I ordered this part for my model and my original part W10224429 and this new part (W10195172) isn't showing to install the same way. the wires are different and it doesn seem to be able to hook up the same. Thanks
Answer Hello Charles,
The rinse aid level sensor has been eliminated so the wires to the sensor are not connected to anything. The wires for the dispenser door actuator, (two brown wires P11-10 and P11-8), are still used.
I need to replace the detergent dispenser part W10224429 for a kenmore model 66513213k901. Do replacement instructions come with the part.
Answer Hello Ozze. No, the manufacturer does not provide instructions. It is a pretty easy job though. Start by removing the screws that hold the inner door in place. Make sure that the power is off to the unit. Lift inner door and take the screws out that hold the dispenser in position. Remove the dispenser and install new in reverse. The screws for the door are normally #20 torx and the dispenser screws are 1/4".
