My Maytag Neptune was working fine, but the door boot seal was heavily black molded. I ordered & installed the replacement boot seal. Reconnecting the wire & spring was difficult, but after many tries with my wife's help, I was able to get it reconnected (the cable fits nicely on the groves all around), and reassembled other components back. We ran our first load of laundry, and it is leaking under the machine. The machine is in a tray, so we were able to stop the machine in time before it spill on the floor. Did I do something wrong with the installation? I followed your video step-by-step. Please advise. Thank you.

Hi I have an Amana washer with the door boot tore. I bought this same one from another retailer. But returned it because it does not have a hole in the side for my detergent hose. And now I'm beginning to see that it's made that way so my question is how in the world do I hook my detergent hose to this door seal because the only hole or holes I'm seeing are at the bottom

Hello. I have an Amana NFW7300WW00 washer. I need to verify the part number for the grey rubber that sits in between the door and the spinning drum. This grey rubber also has 4-6 drainage holes at the bottom to allow water to drain back into the machine. Thank you.

Hi again! Can you tell me if the boot gasket and the door boot seal are the same thing on this model? I want to replace all of the rubber that is visible when you open the door. Ours has become moldy and nasty. Thanks! Dan

The very last step in replacing the door boot seal is to insert the little tabs into the slots all around the washer opening. I can not get the grey rubber tabs on the boot to lock into the slots. Therefore, when I do the very best I can at getting the tabs in place, and close the door, the boot comes completely lose again. The tabs do not fit in as neatly as your video shows, the tabs on my old boot are exactly the same, so they worked. What am I doing wrong? Is there a special way to snap the tabs into place or maybe a cuss word that I need to say while trying to snap the tabs into place? Please help!
