I have a Fridfeadire GLE0332AS1 dryer . It makes a humming sound when trying to turn it on but won't run. Latches don't apear broken and drumm turns fine. Thanks, Ron

Answer Hello Ron. Try turning the drum, with the door switch taped shut, and it humming, and see if it starts and runs. If so, the motor is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit.

The latch is not broken on either end, but the door will not stay shut. It pops open after a few minutes of drying. How do I fix it?

My duet dryer GEW 9250PWO gets stuck at the end of a cycle and won't turn back on. The "Control Lock" button stays lit. A repair guy from Whirlpool said he thought problem was the control board so I ordered one from you but that did not solve my problem. Occasionally the dryer works but it is unpredictable and often leads me with wet clothes. I am not sure what to try next - a new door latch or a new control panel.

The how to video on door lach kit ap3094183 installation shows a much simpler designed dryer door than mine. Is there a more specific instruction for wed9400sw2?

Answer Hi. This latch kit part # 279570 is a normal straight forward kit that can be applied to a very large group of dryer models. If you are careful enough to use putty knife on the side of the female receiver to release the inner holding tabs. Use a set of needle nose pliers to release the male tab of the latch and lightly twist it out of the door. Thank You.
