The washer runs fine no problems except sometimes it will not run the spin cycle. Is there any ideas? Thanks in advance.
You will want to check to make sure that the drain is not clogged up. If the drain is slow or clogged it will cause the unit to not go into the spin cycle. Also check to make sure that the door lock assembly is good. An intermittent door lock will cause no spin issue.
The washer is displaying "SUDS", I've emptied out the washer but cannot get the suds display to turn off, cannot get the washer to go off, or restart.
Answer Hello Dixie. Unplug the unit. Remove the pressure switch hose and blow through the hose. Once the chamber is clear, if the code continues, replace the pressure switch. If it is still there, then the board will have to be replaced.
Strike and latch replaced. Still the same F dL 004 (upside down. what else can it be? Told not the board by this co.??? Thank You, Maria
Answer Hello Maria. First thing to check is the wiring harness. Last thing to replace is the board. Most likely bad connection on the wiring of the unit or a bad wire.
my washer locked up at the start of a cycle and is throwing an error code of "LE". the door is locked and wont open. i have a repairman telling me i need a door seal, a door switch and a pressure switch. this is a 3year old washer...any advise??
Answer CW, The "LE" code in the display would indicate and issue in the water level, you'd want to check the water level sensor switch DC97-03716C, Remove and blow into the tube to make sure it's not clogged with sediment or debris and has an air tight fit at the switch and tub connection. Then consider the control board if all else checks OK.
My washing machine has power but won't start any cycle. Would a faulty door switch cause this problem?
Answer Hello John. If the door switch is bad, it will prevent the unit from working, but you should get an error code. Check the water valves and make sure they are good and if so, you may need to replace the user interface on the unit.
AT FIRST I WAS GETTING DL FAILURE I UNLOCKED IT MANUALLY. I CONTUNUED TO USE THE MACHINE AND THIS WOULD HAPPEN NOW AND THEN. I'M GETTING F11 AND THE MACHINE STOPS WORKING DURING THE CYCLE. DO YOU THINK I NEED A DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY OR IS IT MORE THAN THAT?
Answer Hello Christie,
The F11 error code indicates a MCU (Motor Control Unit) error. You will want to check to make sure that all shipping bolts and spacers have been removed. Check to make sure that washer is on a designated circuit. Other devices on the smae circuit can create line noise and cause this issue. Unplug unit and check the neutral feed to the MCU and CCU (Central Control Unit) from the Ac line filter. Check all wire harness connections between the motor and MCU and MCU to CCU for broken or wires detached from connector. Make sure that all connectors are fully seated. Plug unit back in and verify the unit operation by running diagnostics. After the diagnostics test has finished unplug washer and wait 15 seconds.
I'm getting a DS error code. Is this a bad door switch?
Answer Hello Monty,
The DS Fault code is for the door switch 8182634.
The door locked and I could not get it open. Removed lower panel and it opened it with the release. I tried to use the washer again but the door locked and the machine will not work. What next?
Answer Hello Ron,
Re-post with a model number and we can tell you how to use the units' self diagnostic program to pull the fault codes, or you can use the tech sheet on the unit, (usually located behind the lower panel in a plastic bag), for the instructions for the same.
