My drain pump has 2 separate blue electrical connectors on it; they are located on the edges of the black motor housing. One has 2 white wires & the other has a single black wire. The picture of the pump on your site shows 1 electrical connector in the middle of the black motor housing. How can I use your part? Also what is the pump isolator bracket AP4033617? It is listed as being part of # 5 in the exploded view but I don’t see it in my washer?
Answer Daniel, The pump isolation bracket is mounted to the base of the washer, then the pump, can mount to it. It is basically a "cushion" to disipate or eliminate the noise transfer from the pump to the base. If you have the original foam pad, it will work just as well. As for the wiring connections, They will fit, side by side in the new connector. The two white wires are attached together, inside the plastic connector cover and will not create a problem. Good Luck and Thanks

Water will not drain out and is not clogged.
Answer Hello Daniel. Test and see if there is power coming to the drain pump. If so, and the pump does not run, replace the drain pump 22003059. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
my current pump is rated at 35 watts would that be a problem?
Answer John, We don't know what the issue is, but If you have a 35 watt drain pump in your washer, It's an original part. That particular drain pump was re engineered, 8 to 10 years ago, and is now an 80 watt motor. If you're sure your drain problem is not due to a clog or kink in the hoses or plumbing, then yes, repalce the drain pump. Thanks and Good Luck

If this part is malfunctioning will it, 1. Get more noisy? 2. Interfere with the spin cycle from turning?
Answer Hello Bryan. Yes, if the drain pump is bad, it will get more noisy and will cause the machine not to spin out properly. Hope this helps.
Does this assembly stop water from leaking as the washer is emptying and spinning?
Answer Hello Dona. This part's function is to pump water out of the appliance during the washing cycle. It does have a seal in it though that can become damaged and cause this part to leak. I would suggest trying to determine where the leak comes from. If it originates on the side of this part, then that seal is damaged and the entire pump would have to be replaced. I hope this info helps.
