Hi, this is a Maytag Neptune dryer. It is working well, except that when drying white/light clothes, they often are coming out with dark marks on them. Usually short (1/2"), thin lines. I've inspected the drying bin and cannot see anything that would cause this. One of the baffles is missing - which I am replacing. Could that be the cause of the black marks (from the screw holes?) or would they be from something else?

My dryer is missing two of three baffles, I believe the remaining baffle is a tall or short. I also am unclear if I need to have a combination of the tall and short for most effective dryer function or if a need 3 of one size. In the diagrams, it illustrates one of each but not quantity per parts. Thanks!

What's the difference (other than size) between the short baffle and the tall baffle? Do the tall ones provide better tumbling but break off quicker with heavy loads? Not sure which I should order to replace the ones in the dryer. Thanks!
