I just bought a second-hand stackable gas washer/dryer Frigidaire unit from a second-hand/appliance refurbishing store. When I used the dryer on top there were a bunch of little centimeter or so little pegs/bolts that came out with my dried load. I heard the dryer making more "clinking" noise than usual but just thought it must be that there were a bunch of zippers clinking around in the dryer... I figured out when I got all the clothes out that there were six of these little metal loose pegs/bolt things in there. There was a little F on the end of each one which I assume stands for "Frigidaire". Now I'm worried that something came apart or is falling apart inside my dryer... But the thing is that the dryer is working great. No weird noises, its turning great, and heating up great, etc... So these little pegs were just in there but nothing else seems to be wrong except that now I'm freaked out about what they are? I looked it up and they look a little like some of the drum roller axles I've seen. So my question is this: Could my dryer work properly and with no problems if the drum roller axles fell out? Also, is there anything else that you could think of that those little pieces might be other than drum roller axles? I'm hoping and thinking maybe that when the repair shop refurbished my unit that they put new drum roller axles in (or maybe other parts if that's not what those pieces are) that they left the old ones somehow "in" the unit and they spilled out into the dryer when I did my load... I don't know how else my dryer could seem to be functioning perfectly when pieces seem to have fallen out. If you can shed any light as to my above questions and if you think that my speculation that the old pieces may have somehow been left in is a possibility I would greatly appreciate any help! Just a worried mom here who has no more money to spend on breaking-down appliances and I would SO appreciate anyone who is smarter than me about this stuff to help me. Thanks so much!

I have order #4242322. I have switched out each of those parts and my dryer is still not heating. I am wondering if there is a mother board in the dryer or if you can suggest anything else that could make the heat not work?

I've replaced the drum/motor belt and when the dryer starts it screeches but goes away once the drum rotates for a short time. Do I need to replace the drum support roller to stop the noise?

Does my model have a dryer drum roller axle? It is making a screeching sound, it's starts off with just a few screeches then gets worse as time goes on. Thinking of replacing roller guide wheels, idler wheel and the belt. Anything else you recommend replacing? Thank you, Keith

My Dryer model #MDE9206AYW is making the loud screeching noise that I see on some of the other post. Can I just replace the roller axle MFG Part Number 6-3129480, or do you think I should replace the support roller MFG Part Number 12001541 as well? The dryer sounds a little rough even when it is not screeching so loud you have to leave the house. Do you suggest replacing the bearing kit MFG Part Number 306508 as well. I would rather not have to buy a rivet tool if the axle and or support roller will stop the loud noise.
