I have an Error code of "F1" on my washer. What would that code mean and what do you suggest checking so I can get the right part to replace? Thank you, Warren

My cabrio washer drains for a long time just before the spin cycles, then never spins. It shuts off starts to beep and give me the code ld. So, if it stops at the rinse cycle I shut it down unplug for a few minutes then start back up on the rinse and spin cycle only and it works fine. I do the same thing when it stops on the drain and spin cycle. I just replaced the rods and springs for a shaking problem, fixed it right up. Now if I could figure out the spin cycle problem my washer would be perfect. Can you help, Thank you.

I have a Whirpool Cabrio washer model WTW6600SW2 which as developed a serious problem with Out of Balance (UL). I tried leveling the unit, cleaned, greased and serviced the suspension system, removed the agitator and drum to clear any debris. I inspected the supports and sus[pension, and it all appears to function normally. No broken or misplaced parts, but is it possible for the springs to wear out? I tried small, perfectly balanced loads (4 towels evenly spaced, 4 shirts evenly spaced, 4 pants evenly spaced) and no matter what i do it repeatedly goes off balance and bangs loudly before stalling with the UL code. The only load the runs OK is a very small (light) load. Heavy loads cause frequest UL stalls, and i cannot even get a load done. Any ideas on how to resolve this?

When I turn the washer on it puts a little water in like its going to fill up. Then the next thing I know it jumps to spin cycle. Or sometimes it just does nothing at all.

Ok, my cabrio will not spin at the end of the drain cycle. When I put it through the diagnostic test I get a F71 code. I have removed the drum and removed all of the foriegn objects, cleaned the recirculation basket. I have tested both pumps and the ohms are appropriate. I have put it through a manual diagnostic and the machine WILL spin at appropriate RPMS when told to. I have replaced the RPS sensor and still will not get past the drain/spin cycle. I have checked the continuity on harnes wires and have found no difficulty there either. How can I check my control board to see if that is where the fault lies vs. the drive motor?
