My dryer has stopped working. I can turn it on and press start but nothing happens. The lights work but it never passes the "sensing" cycle. The drum doesn't turn. There's no heat. I do know that the belt needs to be replaced. But I'm sure that won't fix all of the problem. Do I need a new electronic control?

The whirlpool electric dryer runs for 2minutes in "Normal" setting and shuts down the dryer and trips the circuit breaker. Its runs fine in "Air Only" mode, no issues. I changed the Thermistor, heating element and thermal fuse continuity is fine. Please advise..

When you turn the power on the panel is out of sequence. You point at Normal and it is ok, but when you turn to Heavy Duty the light for Casual lights up. The rest of the settings are all off. We ordered P/N 3978994 and received P/N 3978981 and it did not work as it should. Please advise.

Dryer was not heating. Changed element, still no heat. Changed thermostat and thermistor and other fuses checked out ok. The thermistor did test bad, thats why it was replaced... Still no heat. What is the next step in troubleshooting process? With the thermistor testing bad, does that mean the control board is bad?

The dryer quit working last week and we received an error code of F01. We ordered a new machine control assembly per the tech manual from you (AP3965135) and installed it today. The dryer is still not working. All the controls will light up when we go thru the diagnostic test and an 88 will appear. However, the dryer will not turn on in any mode. Any ideas as to what to try? Thanks.
