Dryer was not heating. Changed element, still no heat. Changed thermostat and thermistor and other fuses checked out ok. The thermistor did test bad, thats why it was replaced... Still no heat. What is the next step in troubleshooting process? With the thermistor testing bad, does that mean the control board is bad?

The dryer quit working last week and we received an error code of F01. We ordered a new machine control assembly per the tech manual from you (AP3965135) and installed it today. The dryer is still not working. All the controls will light up when we go thru the diagnostic test and an 88 will appear. However, the dryer will not turn on in any mode. Any ideas as to what to try? Thanks.

I have a Whirlpool Duet Sport dryer. It became necessary to cycle the dryer several times to get the clothes dry. I noticed the time will be set at 25 minutes and the dryer will turn off in about 10 minutes or less. Is this a timer problem and is that included in the control board?

I have a Duet Sport Whirpool dryer. I loaded the clothes into the dryer & set the operating information, all the green lights came on & the time set but when I pushed the start button I was getting signal without starting, I check the door to make sure it was closed properly but still there was no operation. I tried several times to get operation but noting worked. Today I tried again & the dryer worked fine. I'm not sure if there is a problem now, I would appreciate any advice you my have. Thank you, Mike

I have a Whirlpool Duet Sport dryer I am having problems with. It was showing the F-01 code so we got a new ccu and it is just a bit differant. The old ccu had a lable with p/n W10111606 rev c, and the new one we got has the lable p/n w10111606 rev d. Everything looks the same but one extra block that has two places for wires to hook up, that block is is right next to the block where the heavy Red and Black wires plug in. When I hook everything up on the new unit like it was on the old unit it does nothing at all, so i hooked up the old unit again and it showed F-01. I am guessing that it has somthing to do with that extra block but don't know what to do. Thanks

I got a new control unit for my whirlpool duet sport dryer p/n 10111606, The new part came and had the same part number but this one says "rev D" and the old one said "rev C". everything is the same except for one extra block next to where the red and black wires plug in. That extra block also has a place for two wires. When I plug the black and red wires in like they where on the old unit nothing happens at all, so i put all the wires back on the old unit and it powered up and got the same f-01 code. Do i need to plug somthing into that extra block??? Thanks

Nate
