My Jennairr Oven has a display problem. I got dimmer and dimmer and now I can't read it. Could the problem be anyhting other then the Display P/N ap4088560.
Also I replaced my temp probe and it worked for awhile and stopped working. Could that be related?
Answer Hello Al. If the display is getting dimmer it does sound like the electronic control is going bad. The electronic control is the brains of the oven and could be causing the other problems you experiencing. If you replaced the probe and are still having issues then the next step would be replacing the electronic control. Part number 71001799 is the correct erc for your model. Hope this helps.

ERROR CODE f-7 WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?
Answer Chuck, The F7 error code on your range indicates a button / key is pressed for longer than 30 seconds. This would indicate a short circuit in the keypad assembly 71002041. You'll need to remove power to the range, open the oven door, remove the screws along the bottom of the control panel and pivot the panel down and out at the bottom. Label and disconnect the wires to all the switches and clock and transfer the parts to the new control panel.
The oven will not heat - When setting oven temp to 350 and pressing bake the oven only preheats to 100 or 110 degrees and stops - never gets past 110?
Answer Sue, You'll need to remove both the elements 71001680 and W10310260 and check for the proper resistance (bake element 20 ohms, broil element 16 ohms resistance) and check to see that neither element has and missing areas or "boiled" areas on the carborundum coating. You'll need access to a multimeter TJMA-DM1 in order to test the resistance and the voltage (220 VAC) to the elements in a bake mode, to verify if the relay board 12001689 is not at fault.
