My heating element and its related thermostat test fine - continuity on both, tested removed from the unit and isolated completely. However the dishwasher doesn't heat dry the dishes. Though seemingly unrelated, I am wondering if the broken latch on the detergent door might play a role, i.e. does the control board read a switch state on the detergent door that then inhibits the heater from being turned on? If yes, then I need to replace the detergent assembly. If not, do you have any other ideas or suggestions?
