Top right burner is not working, what should I check and which part numbers I need to fix the burner?
Answer R. Solanki,
You will want to check the infinite switch to make sure that there is power going to the element. With the burner in the on position you will need to check from H1 to H2 on the switch and make sure that there is 240 vac. If there is then the element is faulty, if there is not then the switch is faulty.
I need to replace the right rear burner (heat coil) that has small burned spot in the coil. The outer diameter is 8". The part number for the coil is 8523696. Is this correct? Just checking before ordering.
Answer Hello Richard,
You will need to verify the full model number from the units' I.D. tag. This is usually located on the bottom of the unit. I'm sorry to add to your trouble but since the model number can change the elements' part number, it is necessary. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter. AS it is I located two different part numbers for the right rear surface element. 8185638 and 8523696.
Accu-simmer burner is staying too hot. It will cycle on and off but it doesn't seem to want to regulator the temp.
The most likely cause for the Accusimmer to not regulate the temperature would be a faulty infinite switch for that burner.
What is surface element I need for the Left rear burner?
Answer Rosie, the left rear element listed for your mode is part number 8523696. Thanks!
The big top burner on our whirlpool range quit working completely, what do I need to do?
Answer Hello Duane. It's possible that the element part# may need to be replaced. You can test the element using a meter for continuity. If no continuity replacement the element.
