How to change evaporator motor?
Answer Hello Don. You will need to remove the back wall of the freezer to access the fan motor. Once removed, remove the screws holding the old one in place and reinstall the new motor. Hope this helps.

For the fan inside the fridge. There are three wires going to it. Whats the green wire, red wire and white wire? Also how would I test the fan?
The green wire going to the fan is the ground, white is the neutral and red is the power line. If you go from red to ground you should have 120 vac and if you check from red to white you should have 120 vac. This will need to be checked with a voltometer. If there is power then the fan motor is faulty. You would only need to check from white to red.

Will AP3110893 be the right one for my freezer? My Model number is ED19HKXRNR5
Answer Hello Michael. Yes, based on the model number provided, 482469 is the correct fan motor.
I've gotten a new evaporator fan and I'm trying to figure out how to wire it back on the maytag performa refrigerator.
Answer Hello Nicky. Hook the green wire to ground and the small ground spade on the fan motor 482469. Then install the red wire and the white wire onto the fan motor spades. You will need to splice them into the wires in the freezer for the old motor. These do not have to be hooked up a certain way.
