Answer Cathy, The extension attaches to the "Bail Arm" 2304354 of the ice maker. If you damaged the extension and or the arm, chances are you damaged the shut off mechanism inside the ice maker control module 8201515 and the ice maker won't make ice because it's damaged as well. The ice bucket doesn't have much to do with the production of ice cubes.

Answer Hi Bojoles. This extension part # 2304353, clips onto the fountain dispenser funnel assy. This chute extension will allow for a tighter flow of ice into a container assy. Thank You.
