Does this adaptor come with an O ring inside the head that hooks up to the faucet. The reason I ask this is that one of my family members thinks he is "a plumber" and installed a new fill & drain assembly to the dish washer and now it leaks at the faucet. Looking inside it looks like there should be some type of O ring. The part number on this hose assy is a maytag 903404. It came off the plastic wrap that the hose was in.

Answer If you are speaking of the adapter at the end of the hose that attaches to the sink, yes it should have an o-ring on the inside.

Drain and fill hose coupler on this unit I know they don't make this product any more. But is there any other coupler that would work? I really don't want to buy a new dishwasher when this is the only thing that is bad. Please help if you can. Thanks, Dennis

Is there an alternative faucet adapter available for this model dishwasher? The fill hose will not stay attached to the faucet, and this part is no longer available. It looks like many other similar parts are available, and there can't be much of a difference between hoses.

I have a maytag portable dishwasher model # dwc7400aaw. I need a fill and drain hose that is longer than the original is this possible or is there an extention you can buy?

I am looking to replace my fill/drain assembly. This will be the 3rd hose in a little over 14 months of having the machine. It seems the snap on/snap off system is flawed, especially when you have some water pressure. As such, I am looking for fill/drain assembly which can be screwed onto the faucet or a faucet adapter - thus avoiding the issue of the thing breaking again in 3-6 months Does this part screw on? Do you sell the spring, wire ring, and the little white clips that go inside the faucet connector? You might say the guts aren't seperate from total fill & drain hose assembly.

I just bought a Maytag dishwasher from a used appliance store and I have no idea how the plastic end of this hook up hose connects to the water and drain lines. Does this hose have an adapter to hook it up to the water and drain lines? I see it has a quick release type of connector at one end but I don't think it just hooks up to a standard 3/8 water valve.

Answer Hello Rocky, The part you are looking at is the quick connect for a portable dishwasher. It cannot be used under the counter as the drain water shoots out of the bottom of it upon drain. It requires a special adaptor on the kitchen sink faucet to hook it up. If you're hooking this unit up as a built in unit, you will have to remove this hose assembly from the water inlet valve and the drain connection at the pump. You will need to order a drain line 3374077 and a water supply line TJ10SS48DW. You will either have to install a receptacle to plug in the power supply or you can remove the existing power supply line and hard wire the unit.

i think i need the hose assembly but i want to make sure it comes with the male nipple that screws into the fauctet adapter kit. if you lood at the faucet adapter kit and the hose assembly kit they will not not connect to each other unless the nipple or quick disconnect nipple is between them. so i want to make sure it either comes with hose assembly kit or faucet adapter kit or can i buy it seperately-thank you
