Is Part# AP3597347 the correct Front Bellow Tub Seal for my washer? Are other parts required for replacement? Also do you have instructions on how to replace?
Carl for Model Number MFW9700SQ0
Answer Hello Carl! Yes, the front bellow 8182119 is the correct gasket used on your model MFW9700SQ0. No other parts are required unless broken on your unit now. If needed, the front clamp is part number 8182211 and the rear clamp is part number 8182210. Here are the instructions from the manufacturer, hope it helps. Thanks! 1. Unplug washer or disconnect power. 2. Turn off the water supply to the washer. 3. Remove the top cover and the console. 4. Remove the lower front access panel. 5. Open the washer door. 6. Using a small screwdriver or a pair of long-nosed pliers, pull the tension spring on the retaining wire out from around the front of the bellows, and remove the wire. 8. To remove the bellows: a) Remove the two T-20 Torx screws from the door switch assembly. b) Remove the front panel from the washer. c) Turn the bellows retaining clamp screw counterclockwise until the clamp is loose enough to remove it from around the bellows. NOTE: It may be necessary to completely remove the screw from one end of the clamp. d) Remove the bellows retaining clamp from around the bellows 8182119. e) Pull the bellows off the front of the tub. REASSEMBLY NOTE: When you reinstall the bellows, be sure to position the “weep holes”at the bottom, and align the top arrow mark at 12:00 first.
I need to replace the bellow for my Kenmore washer and need to know if this one is latex-free? Or do you sell a plastic or vinyl one?
Corinna for Model Number 110. 4508 1401
Answer Hello Corinna! The front bellow 8182119 is a thick rubber gasket. Unfortunately, we do not have the specs to verify if it is latex-free. This is the original gasket and will be made out of the same material of your current bellow. Thanks.
Is this all I need to replace the bellow? There is a wire that came lose that looks like it was holding it in and not sure how it was attached. How do I attach it to the front also because when I opened the door it was off ?
Peso for Model Number mfw9700sq1
Answer Hello Peso,
To replace the bellow 8182119 is the only part needed. The wire band that came loose goes around the bezel of the opening of the door where the bellow goes. The spring part goes down at the bottom and you work the band around keeping the spring in place.

Kevin for Model Number Neptune front load washer
Answer Kevin, A model and serial number would be greatly appreciated, We can be more precise in assisting you. Several things to check, first. If you washer was updated, there should be a drain opening in the center bottom of the boot(6 o'clock position) that could be clogged with debris, lint, etc. Check the water level in the tub, start the washer, with nothing in the tub, allow the washer to fill and wash for a few minutes, pause the washer and open the doorwhen it unlocks. Using a ruller , measure the water level at the rear of the tub(deepest area) it should measure 3 to 4 inches deep(give or take 1/2 an inch). allow the washer to progress through the cycle to the rinse, allow the washer to fill and wash a few minutes, the water level should increase by 1 inch in the rinse cycle. If all's OK, then you will need to check for the proper detergent and softner usage, you may have a sudsing/foaming issue.
