How do you replace the new stainless door panel for Maytag 300 series.
To replace the door panel on the unit you will need to remove the inner panel by removing all the #20 torx head screws on the inner door. Once you have that done then you will want to lift the inner door and remove the screws from the control panel that hold it to the door panel and the screws on the arms at the bottom of the door holding the panel. Remove panel and install new one in reverse.
I need the direction for replacing a dishwasher panel.
Answer Hello Beverly. You will need to disconnect the power to the unit. Then remove the screws securing the inner door panel. Remove the inner door panel and remove the cover off the control board. Remove the ribbon cable from the control board and remove the screws holding the control board housing in place. Next remove the screws holding the control panel in place. Remove the outer door panel. Reinstall with the new door panel in reverse order.
