The tub is not spinning. There is some slight resistance when manually turned. I tested the switch, checked tumbler bearings, and belt. What is next?
Answer Hello Milk,
You will need to remove the tumbler and check the drum rollers 12001541 and the idler pulley 6-3700340. Any of these that oppose rotation will cause an issue including noises and the belt 33002535 breaking. Be sure that you clean the roller shafts with a dry paper towel to remove any sticky residue. The drum rollers should spin freely as should the idler pulley.
The front of my drum is not stable. Do I need to replace the front tumbler?
You will want to check the front tumbler 33001802 for damage and also the drum front to make sure that it is not damaged and allowing the unit to not stay steady. Also check the rear rollers to ensure that there is no damage to them or the rear drum that could cause the drum to shift.
