I have replaced the thermal fuse, affixed to the heating element housing, once already. It was only a few weeks ago. Had previously cleaned all excess lint from dryer and vent system to ensure no blockage. What could have caused thermal fuse to blow again?

Dryer keeps blowing the thermal fuse located on the heating element housing. Have cleaned vent system in the house and cleaned all lint from the dryer and around motor. What is causing this?

I ordered these parts: 307178, 307473, 3387137, and 33001762. I also ordered the multi-meter. For each of these parts, can you tell me the resistance/ohms for each of the parts? I am trying to test them with the multi-meter.

my maytag neptune will not dry clothes all the way. everytime it will stop in the middle of drying with the panel lit up and not come back on for quite a while. Other times it kicks off and the control panel goes black, but lights back up after awhile. It takes all day to dry one load?

Our dryer appears to work fine but doesn't dry clothes unless you run them thru 5-6 60 min. cycles. I opened the front access panel on the dryer and saw the heat element come on; the cycle was 45 sec. on and 180 sec. off. This seems like too long an off cycle. I checked thermostat fuses 3-06604 & 3-07473 and both had continuity (closed ckt.). I did notice that the single terminal located on the outside of the heater coil shroud that connects black wire #33 to the front of the heater coil element would spark internally for 1-3 sec. prior to the heater coil coming on. This terminal had no part #. Could this be the problem? Thanks
