First, is this the right thermal switch for this model? The original switch number is 16 3700920. Second, what do I check to determine what caused the switch to blow? There are actually two thermal switches on this dryer. one is mounted outside the heat tube. This one is mounted in the duct from the motor fan to the rear of the dryer.

My gas dryer comes on, the glow bar turns red and the gas lights. Then the gas goes out, the glow bar will turn red but no gas. This will go on for a few times, then the gas will light but goes out quickly. I was told that this is a thermostat that is bad, but now which one? I think there are 3 thermostats, sensors etc.

Wehn I start the dryer sometimes the igniter will not start the flame. I ohmed out the coils and they are ok. The ignighter reads 65 ohms. The thermal fuse reads 0 ohms. Which part or parts do you recommend I replace? Thanks for your help.
