Oven does not get hot. The ignitor glows but it seems like no gas is coming thru.
Answer Hello Noni. Test for 3.2-3.6 volts AC at the gas safety valve with the igniter turned on. If the voltage is there, you have a bad safety valve. If the voltage is low, you have a weak igniter and the igniter will need to be replaced. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html

When I turn the gas on to my oven it smells like gas from the pressure regulator. How do I fix the problem?
Answer Hello Richard. Check and make sure none of the lines on the regulator are leaking. If they are good, and the regulator is leaking, you will need to replace the pressure regulator 98007411. Hope this helps.
Is it easy to put the oven igniter on?
Answer Hello Ms. Paula. The igniter is not hard to replace. Just disconnect the power and remove the bottom of the oven to access the burner cover. Remove the cover and remove the screws securing the igniter. Pull out the old igniter and install the new igniter 98005652 in reverse order. Hope this helps.
When I cut on my oven I have to wait at least an hour before it comes on. What could that be? Please help Thanksgiving is coming up.
Answer Hello Ms. Paula. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the igniter 98005652 is weak and will need to be replaced. If it takes a long time to heat up, usually the igniter is bad in the unit. Hope this helps.
Our flame in the broiler is not sufficient to broil; what do we need?
Answer Hello Sal. First you will want to make sure you have enough gas pressure coming into the unit. You should have a minimum of 0.1psi and a max of 0.5-0.6 psi. Do you have any issues when you bake? Thanks!
