I'm not getting any heat from my gas dryer-all the fuses check out OK with the multimeter, and I replaced the gas coils and still no heat. What should I check out next?

Hello. hopefully you can help out. Dryer seems to work great but when we open the door a strong smell of natural gas comes out. But we do not smell gas when it is not running. I tried tightening the gas fittings that i could but still smell. Like I said only during and when we open the door right after it has ran. I was leaning towards replacing the gas valve coils, or is there a gas regulator in the machine?

The ignitor starts, flame comes on, stays on for a min then goes out. ignitor starts again a minute later, the flame comes, high smell of gas. Clothes are not dried in an hour, but may be dried in 2 or 3. We did replace Dryer Igniters and Gas Valve Coils 3 years ago.

Dryer starts and works fine. Open door to check clothes, close, push start and the dryer tumbles and the gas valve clicks on but does not lite, yet gas valve stays on filling dryer and vent hose with unburned natural gas. I think replacing the igniter may help lite the gas, but what safety feature is not turning off the gas in the event it does not lite?

What should I be looking for when heat won't come on when drying on high like heavy cycle? It will work when on delicate cycle.
