Need to remove outer door glass. Need to be clean. Steps to remove the door glass. Thanks
Answer Hello Carlos. You will need to remove the door from the oven. To do this, open the door half way, and lift it off. Once removed, you will need to remove the screws holding the door together and disassemble the oven door. Reinstall in reverse order. Be sure and pay attention to how it comes apart for reassembly. Hope this helps.

I have a Maytag Gemini. While cleaning the lower over the inner glass cracked. Is there anything other than the glass that is needed for the repair? Are there any instructions on how to do the repair?
Answer Hello Alicia. You should just order the glass. To change the glass in an oven door, you will need to determine how to remove the door on the model number you are working on. If you open the door to the first stopping point, some oven doors will lift off the unit in this position. On other models, you will see clips on the back of the hinge toward the opening where the hinge enters the range. If yours is like this, you will open the door all the way open, then pull the clips down until they stop and lock in place. Then close the door to the stopping point and lift the door off the range. If you door does not lift off, and it does not have the clips, then you will open the door all the way open. You will see a hole in the hinge at the bottom of the door. You will insert a pin or nail into that hole and close the door to the stopping point. Then you can lift the door off the unit. Once the door is removed, you will lay it on a soft surface and disassemble the door. Pay attention and make notes if needed for reassembly of the oven door. Once you have replaced the door glass, you will reinstall the oven door back onto the range in reverse order of the way you removed it.
I have a JENN AIR S136W outside glass on the oven door that is broken. Will the Whirlpool part # 74006636 white glass door work?

Hello. I have a broken front door. Can you give me the correct part number (AP4095874)?? Are any other parts required for replacing (tape)? Thanks.
Answer Hello! The outer door glass is part number 74006636. You will need the foil tape for the sides and the top of the glass however, on your model it has discontinued. We have foil tape available from our common parts you can also use, just cut to fit your glass. The part number is TJMA-322-3. Thanks!
