Part D7813010 Ice Machine Wiring Harness
Answer The fuse in the icemaker harness is a thermal fuse that opens when if the icemaker heater has stayed on for too long.
How do get the wiring harness off of the ice maker? No plug by the ice maker. The wires go into the back of refrigerator.

Answer Hello K.C.,
Remove the white plastic cover from the front of the icemaker assembly. It just snaps on. Once this is off, turn the icemaker and look at the side where the harness connects. On the side of the icemaker there is a small square hole where you can see the plastic molex connector that plugs into the icemaker. Using a small screwdriver, press in on the side closest to the wires. As you do this, pull on the harness and it should slide right out. It will insert without the use of any tools.
installed water to ice maker but cannot get power to solenoid
Don for Model Number MBF1956KEB
Answer Don, The first thing to do is unplug the power cord and tape the freezer drawer light switch closed. disconnect the wires at the fill valve and attach the meter leads to the wires. Using the jumper wire, insert the ends into the "T" and "H" openings in the control head and check for 120 VAC at the wires, when the rake arm reaches the 1 to 2 O'clock position, Good Luck and Thanks
I installed the part. Some reason it did not work. I have plugged in on each end of the electrical attachment.

Answer Hello Leland. If you replaced the wiring harness D7813010 and the unit still does not work, you have another problem other than the wiring harness. Hope this helps.
How do you remove the existing plastic tubing water lines on the water valve and install the tubing in the new valve?
Thank You

Answer Hello Grant. To remove the water lines from the water valve 67005154, you will press in on the plastic fittings, and pull the water lines out of the water valve. To install the lines, you will press them into the fittings until they bottom out and lock into place. Pull on the line lightly to make sure the are secured. Hope this helps.
