Replaced water filter and noticed water leaking overnight. Put another filter in and the same results. (each time I ran 3 gallons through to remove air). Ordered and installed a new replacement water filter head and still the same results. What else can cause the leak?

I recently replaced the water filter head assembly and tubes part number 67004106 (AP4080076) because there was a leak in the water inlet tube. Before doing this, the water pressure out of the water dispenser was a little low but ice was made with no problems. After putting in the new filter head, the water dispenses faster but no water is going to the ice maker. I reseated the water filter but this did not make a difference. The supply tube to the ice maker had a little water frozen in it inside the freezer but this was cleared away. Any idea why no water is getting to the ice maker but is dispensing at the front ok?

I changed out the water filter on my Maytag refrigerator and flushed the new line and now have sediment in my water. I put the old water filter back on and still had sediment. The water before changing was completely clean as I had a huge bottle of it to compare so I know that it was the change that caused the problem. I put the new filter back on and have flushed gallons of water through but the sediment is still there.

Previously when dispensing water the output was intermittent but it cleared up but now when the icemaker fills the refrigerator makes a banging sound that can be heard throughout the house. I've tested all four solenoids with an ohm meter and hey all test consistent with each other. No hi res opens. I am not sure which water valve is giving me the problem the main which I assume is the valve that takes the water from the source to the filter and back to the secondary valve. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Why my refrigerator is not dispensing water? Action: Replace water solenoid valve. Replaced Water filter, Checked for water supply "ok", no freezing lines, Ice maker working properly. When water function is selected, water flow is normal (for just five seconds) then water stops flowing. Wait ten minutes and then something happens. Remove filter and the same thing happens.

My kitchen aid fridge would not dispense water at full stream. It makes a bouncing sound, like someone turning on and off real fast. After changing filter, and then water inlet valve, I still have same problem. What do you think it could be.

Pretty confident I've isolated the problem down to the Water Filter Head on my Maytag refridgerator. Now the question is, how difficult a repair is this? Is it something a mook like me with moderate mechanical skills and a basic tool set can handle? I don't see that you have one of the great videos I've followed for other repairs in the past.

My water dispenser works, but continues to constantly leak when not being used. I replaced the water filter, and it still continues to leak. I order part # 4388152, but this seems to be the wrong part for my Kenmore. What should I order and replace?
