Hello. I ordered a replacement heating element for my Maytag dryer from you. There were two elements offered for that dryer one was 240 volts and the other was I believe 208 or 204 volts. When I received the new part I measured it and the old element that I removed was a little over 12 inches longer than the new one which was the 240 volt model. My dryer is rated at 240 volts. I do not want to install the new one and damage it if it is the wrong one. I could not find any length or measurements in the illustration on your website. Any input would be helpful. Thanks

Drying a load of clothes is still damp after two hours of running. Would this be a heating element or some other problem. I am on my way to the laundry mat to dry 4 loads of clothes. Hanging outside they would freeze on the line. Thanks I will order whats needed when I hear from you.

The heating element snapped in two. I replaced it and within a week, the new one broke in at least 3 places and the end piece got so hot, it sodered to the metal tube. Am I buying a new dryer? It's 21 years old.

The dryer heats up some of the time when moved. You have to shake it then it will start to heat up again. Could you give some advice what might be wrong? Thank you.

No heat from dryer. I tested the thermal switch, it isn't open. I checked the heating element, about 9 ohms. Checked voltage at heating element, 120v on both sides. Not sure of what else to check if the element has 120v to it and air flowing, shouldn't it be hot? Thanks for the help, Dave.
