I need a diagram. where is the heater located, physically?

To access the heater on unit you will need to remove the main top, control panel and the front panel of the unit. The heater is located on the right side of the base of the unit. Unfortunately we do not have disassembly instructions for Samsung.
My dryer will not heat up no matter which setting it is on. It stays ice cold. Can you speculate (I know without personal diagnoses you can't be for sure) what could be the issue? Thank you !

Answer Hello Samantha. Check and make sure you have 240 volts coming to the dryer. Check and make sure the unit is not set to Air Fluff. Also check the heater and thermostats and see if they are good. You can test these with a multi-meter TJMA-DM1. They should read closed for continuity. How do you open the dryer to replace the element?

Answer Hi Jane. Remove power. Remove top. remove control panel assy. This will give access to the upper front panel screws. Remove them and bottom screws. Remove the front panel and mark the door switch wires for reinstalling. Once the front panel is removed, the heating element part # 35001247, is in the rt. front area. If this is bad you will also need to replace the thermal fuse on the front of the heater housing part # 35001193. All thermostats need to ohm closed. The thermistor at the rt. end of the blower hsg. should read 10,000 ohms at room temperature. It is part # 35001191. Thank You.
