I have a whirlpool duet washer and the drain pipe wants to collapse. What might be causing this problem?
Answer Hello Sheila. Make sure the hose is not clogged and if not, you may need to replace the hose on the unit.
Does the ball in the hose sit inside on top of the hose or does it get pushed through to the second hole?
Answer Teresa, The "check" ball is inserted into the large opening in the large end of the tub to pump hose. Whwn properly installed it resides in the chamber under the opening and when water backfushes up the hose, it blocks the opening. Thanks
Wondering if this would fit a front loader whirlpool duet ghw9150pw1? Also does the white ball come installed already? If not, how would the white ball be put in?
Answer Phil, the tub to pump hose 8181732 is the correct replacment hose used on model GHW9150PW1. This hose does not include the ball W10121657. The ball will push inside the hose, you may need to grease the ball a little to get it through the hole in the hose. Thanks!
How does part #AP3128836 disconnect from the top? Does it screw out or just pull off?
Answer Hello Myron. You will remove the clamp, and then the hose 8181732 will pull off the tub assembly. Hope this helps.
Does the clamp come with this hose?
Answer Hello Robin! No, the hose 8181732 does not come with the clamp. Searching a model that uses this hose the large clamp is part number 696392 and the smaller clamp, to connect to pump, is 285655. Thanks!
