The lights on the display will sometimes light up and sometimes will not. Sometimes the unit will work sometimes it will not. Will the control board housing 99002576 fix this.
You will want to check the ribbon harness from the control panel to the control board for loose or corroded contacts. If this checks ok then the most likely cause for the issue will be a faulty Control panel 6-919837.
Lights on the front of the dishwasher front panel will not turn on. We have power to all circuits. What could be the problem?
If you have power to the control board then more than likely you have either a loose connection on the ribbon harness of the keypad or a bad keypad.
My Dishwasher is in-op. The only light on is the heat/dry light..We replaced the push button contol panel 6 months ago..so I thought that might be the problem again. So I replaced it once more. It didn't fix it..Any suggestions?? Thanks
Answer Hello Matt. If the heated dry light is on, that is a error code for memory failure and you will need to replace the control board in the unit. Your serial number will be needed to find the correct control board for the unit. Hope this helps.
how do you check power to the control board
Answer Mike, You need to be extra careful if you're going to check voltage at the door switches and control board. and you will need to check from Black wires to White wires at both locations. At the switches you'll find two sets or black wires and two sets of white wires, the wires traced "down the door go to the power junction block and the wires going up attach to the control board terminals. You should have 120 VAC from the wires on the switches going down the door and ) volts on the wires to the control board. when you press in and block the switch plungers in place you should have 120 VAC on the wires to the control board. At the control board, you'll find two four pin connectors, the connector on the left side has two terminals, side by side with black wires and the connector on the right has two white wires side by side. Check from each black wire to each white wire for 120 VAC. If alls OK, you have a bad control problem 12002709. Good Luck and Thanks
