My washer makes a loud noise when in the wash cycle. The Spin cycle is working normally. When I manually spin then drive belt in one direction the tub spins, the other direction nothing happens. Is the splined shaft for the agitator supposed to spin in that direction? And is that a transmission problem?

The washer fills up with water but won't go into next step which I believe is the wash step. I ordered a new timer but that didn't solve it and I checked the lid switch to make sure I was getting proper operation. That was ok. What do I do next as far as parts to check?

Replaced thrust bearing, but clothes are still wet. The machine does spin on the spin cycle. I noticed that it is very difficult to manually spin the tub. Is the brake sticking?

Motor went out so replaced it. While I was at it I replaced the Springs, Snubber, and put in a Thrust Bearing kit. Everything fine for a few weeks of use until a washing novice put a ''large' load in with the water level on very low. immediately began hearing some metal clunking in agitation mode. stopped the machine, emptied it, and checked it's operation to find that it spins when turned by the belt, spins and drains normally, makes some periodic muted clunking noises when agitating but is otherwise working normally. I am thinking the large load with minimal water damaged the transmission in some way. What is your best guess?

My Maytag washer is ok during washing cycle but during rinse water is just draining, the tub is not moving and the clothes are still soaking wet What could be the problem? A technician diagnosed it to be the transmission gear not functioning. I would appreciate any help from you so I could order the part from your store. Thanks

My washer makes a loud noise almost like and off balance load when in the wash cycle. The Spin cycle is working normally. When I manually spin the drive belt in one direction the agitator moves, the other direction also moves the agitator but also has a hard spot. Is the splined shaft for the agitator supposed to spin in that direction? Is this a transmission problem or something else?

My Maytag is not agitating. I have replaced the agitator and the thrust bearing kit (all purchased from your site) The issue is still not resolved. When the agitator is suppose to move is when I hear grinding noise (loud) and the agitator does not move. When I replaced the thrust bearing i noticed grease sprayed all over the floor. Any thoughts?
