The basket does not spin.
Answer Hello Armando. You need to check and see if something is stuck between the inner and the outer tubs on the unit. You need to remove the inner basket to check this. If not, and the basket is not spinning by hand, you may have bad bearings and need to replace the outer tub assembly.
In the spin cycle, the washer makes a loud noise like a jet engine taking off. It all still works, just noisy in spin cycle.
Answer Hello Thomas. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the bearings are bad and you will need to order and replace the outer tub assembly W10193886 on the unit.
Makes a clanking noise during the wash cycle (agitate). Noise goes away during drain/spin cycle. What is the problem?
Answer J, The first thing to check would be the agitator, or under it actually, Remove the center cap on the agitator, remove the bolt in the center of the agitator , then you can lif it out and check under it . This is a "direct drive" washer and there are no moving parts in the agitator drive system, nothing to make a "clanking" noise. Thanks and Good Luck
Does the hub help with the balance? Washer is always off balance.
Answer Hello Ron. No, based on the information you provided, it sounds like the suspension W10189077 is bad and will need to be replaced. Hope this helps.
