My washer , makes a loud whirring sound on the spin mode, like the bearing is dry and worn out. What is the part number , and where is it located. Is it the hub part number ap3892170 . Pleases vi need this info urgent, as I feel the washer is going to pack up any day now, and we only got it two years ago.

Whirlpool model# WTW6800WW. Progressively increased noise during spin cycle. Sounds like a bad bearing. Grey residue, looking like graphite, spun out on floor beneath rotor. Which part do I need to replace / order?

Drum makes excessive noise when spinning, I believe its the bearing. Want to confirm part number ap3892170 and what would be the part number for the bearing tool I would need? Thanks, Jim
