My washer seems to be leaking underneath on the left side of the washer.
Answer Hello Vera. You will need to check the recirculation pump, and the recirculation hose for the unit. See if any of the hoses are leaking or if the pumps are leaking under the unit.
Water leaking from the bottom middle holes in the Rotor under the washer not sure what part to order, the Hub???
With the leaking coming from under the rotor, the issue with the unit would be a bad tub seal which would require the bearings to be replaced. There are 2 options for bearing replacement. 1st would be to replace the outer tub of the unit part number W10193886. The second would be to replace just the bearing and shaft W10435302 and would need the bearing tool for this which is part number W10447783.
Drum makes excessive noise when spinning, I believe its the bearing. Want to confirm part number ap3892170 and what would be the part number for the bearing tool I would need?
Answer Jim, The part you referred to 280145 Is the drive hub, it attaches to the spin basket and the white smaller splined fitting attaches to the shaft, You may need it, if it is distorted, has broken "teeth, or rounded edges. the bearing and seal kit W10435302 and tool W10447783 are the parts required to repair/replace the tub bearings and seal. You could also replace the outer tub assembly W10193886, as an option.
