How do you replace the ice dispenser chute door?
Answer Disconnect the power to the unit. You will need to remove the front cover. It unsnaps from the dispenser using a putty knife. Once the cover is removed, you can access the door chute by removing the plastic bracket.

I need to replace the ice chute door for this unit, your video for doing this is not applicable for KA, but instead for the Whirlpool brand. I understand that you folks do not have a video for the KA brand, but my question is are there any written instructions to replacement of the i.c. door for this model number?

Unfortunately the manufacturer does not have printed instructions on this. Based on the information that from the part, it would appear that there is a screw on either side of the dispenser housing and one at the bottom of the housing. Also remove the drip tray as there may be 2 screw located there. Once removed the housing should come off in order to access the dispenser door.
Will this door work on my ref.?
Answer Hello Steve. No, you need to order 8201649 for your model.
I need to replace the ice dispenser door. It is an older model with the heater. Do I need just the replacement door or the door kit?
Answer Vickie, I believe your model should read ED25QFXHT02. You can replace the door only, part number 2180353 if no other parts are broken. Thanks.
