My ice maker went out. I ordered 1129316 from your website according to the part mfg. The bottom of the ice maker page said it's not the right one for my refer.?
Answer John, model KTRI18K is a partial model number therefore our compatibility tool won't recognize the kit as being compatible with your appliance. Based on the models found for KTRI18K the icemaker add on kit, part number 1129316, is the correct replacement. The icemaker only is part number 4317943. Thanks.
Does part #AP3062348 come with everything I need to add onto my fridge that has never had an ice maker installed?
Answer Hello Paul! Yes, the icemaker add on kit 1129316 will contain all parts needed for new installations. However, you'll also need part number TJ9CIMKIT20. Thanks!
Can this kit work in an Avanti fridge or is the wiring to different?
Answer Hello Mark! Unfortunately, we do not carry parts for or have information regarding the brand Avanti and are unable to guarantee a replacement part as being compatible with your appliance. Sorry about that!
Over filling and will not stop.
Answer Hello Gerald. Based on the information you provided, you will need to order and replace the icemaker on the unit.
Kitchen Aid side by side...no water in the tray
Answer Hello Eldon. Make sure the freezer is between 0° and 5°. You need to check and see if there is power going to the water valve when the icemaker cycles. If so, replace the water valve on the unit. If not, or the icemaker does not cycle, you will need to replace the icemaker on the unit. Also, check and make sure the fill tube on the unit is not frozen and clogged. If so, replace the water valve and thaw out the fill tube. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
