Can the size of the ice cubes be varied on this unit? This one is making icebergs so large they plug up the delivery system.

Is your Whirlpool part compatible with the Subzero 650? Also the Whirlpool model I seem to be seeing around is the 4317943. How is the one you sell different? The one in our fridge is intermittent. Sometimes it just stops making ice, other times it overfills the tray (a little) and pours some water into the ice tray below, where it freezes. It isn't failing "reliably". Is this a typical failure or is it likely to be anything else but the icemaker itself. Very helpful repair video by the way! Thanks.

Does this kit work for this model? My ice is forming small cubes repeatedly that get stuck upon ejection so I think the flow mechanism is malfunctioning. I took it out and tried to adjust the flow screw and broke it trying to turn it. Nice. I'm assuming a new unit will rectify the matter. Any advice would be appreciated. Have you seen this issue and is it generally rectified by replacing the unit? Thanks in advance.

We woke up this morning and there was water in the ice tray, no more ice cubes. There was water in the fridge and on the floor in the kitchen. The water in the ice tray had a layer of ice on it. So, it looks like the water kept running out of the ice maker and melted the ice in the ice tray. We never shut the water off. Anyway, I was afraid the freezer quit working, the food was softer not frozen solid. After a while the food was frozen again. I looked at the ice maker and the wire arm you can flip up or down is stuck halfway down and will not go all the way down to make ice. But will go up. Help please.

Came home to a wet floor due to the fact the water did not shut off in the ice maker. Replaced the "valve" in the back of the refrigerator. Now I can't get any water to go into the ice maker. 54 dollars wasted. Any suggestions. Do I need to buy a whole new ice maker. Seems easy enough but I don't want to waste any more money. Help
