We woke up this morning and there was water in the ice tray, no more ice cubes. There was water in the fridge and on the floor in the kitchen. The water in the ice tray had a layer of ice on it. So, it looks like the water kept running out of the ice maker and melted the ice in the ice tray. We never shut the water off. Anyway, I was afraid the freezer quit working, the food was softer not frozen solid. After a while the food was frozen again. I looked at the ice maker and the wire arm you can flip up or down is stuck halfway down and will not go all the way down to make ice. But will go up. Help please.

Came home to a wet floor due to the fact the water did not shut off in the ice maker. Replaced the "valve" in the back of the refrigerator. Now I can't get any water to go into the ice maker. 54 dollars wasted. Any suggestions. Do I need to buy a whole new ice maker. Seems easy enough but I don't want to waste any more money. Help

Hello - My Fridge / Freezer (Roper by Whirlpool Model # RS22AQXMQ00) is giving me some issues. When I turn the ice maker on, water comes down the water chute and into the ice maker. Rather than the water staying in the ice maker the water just runs directly through causing water to go everywhere in my freezer. The water chute does not seem to be frozen. Any idea as to why the ice maker will not accept the water to make ice cubes? I'm not sure if I need a new ice maker or would this be caused by the water inlet value? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

What would cause my ice maker water flow to rapidly shut on and off during the tray fill cycle? I've already replaced the water inlet valve with no luck. The tray does fill to the proper level and makes ice. The copper fill tube rattles and vibrates badly as if the water flow was rapidly being turned off and on. Whirlpool refrig model #ED20TKXDWO1, ser# SF5067469. Thanks..Tony

This is in regard to the ice maker. I can not replace the plastic part that directs the ice into the ice container. I just can not get the piece back in place. Thank you

We moved into this house and the refridge with a freezer ice maker came too. The freezer and refridge is working great, however the ice maker is trying to make ice -- we are getting hollow ice and only 1 at a time. We do have water coming in to the ice maker. Someone mentioned that a filter was dirty. Where is the filter and how do we get to it?
