How easy is this to install?????
Answer Hello Kevin. These are not to hard to install. Just remove the screws holding the icemaker in place, and disconnect the wires to the icemaker. You will need to remove the arm from the old icemaker and install it on the new one. Reinstall in reverse order. Hope this helps.

Does this icemaker come with the harness? What parts off the old icemaker do I need to use?
Answer Hello Randall! This is the icemaker only. All parts must be reused from the existing icemaker. Thanks.
Water will not fill ice maker, when I jump the water valve out the water valve works. I jumped the ice maker cycle out and it worked through cycle but still no water
Answer Ronald, Attach your meter leads or test light to the wires for the ice maker solenoid and cycle the ice maker again, you should read 120 VAC across the wires when the rake arm reaches the 1 to 2 o'clock position. No voltage would indicate a broken wire from the freezer wall to the fill valve or a damaged fill contact in the ice maker control module.
Remove & replace ice dispenser.
To remove the dispenser housing you would remove the drip tray from the dispenser. Once removed you will see 2 screws and will need to remove them. Once removed you can remove the dispenser cover.
Do you sell the control module only? Price? Availability?
Answer Hello Steve. On some models you can order just the module. However, it is always recommended to replace the icemaker assembly on the unit.
What # ice maker, for this side by side? Thanks, Alex
Answer Alex, the replacement icemaker listed for Whirlpool ED25YQ* models is part number 4317943. Thanks.
Can the size of the ice cubes be varied on this unit? This one is making icebergs so large they plug up the delivery system.
Answer Hello Jim. Yes, on the side of the module is a small white plastic screw. Move it very little to adjust cube size. A little is a lot.
