Impeller seal is leaking. I've removed the pump and motor. How do I remove the impeller from the motor shaft?
Answer Hello George. These parts will pull off the D shaft. You will need to remove the front disk to do this repair. Hope this helps.

My dish washer will not pump water out
Answer Hello Glenn,
This is most commonly caused by a clog in the drain system of the unit. If all screens are clear the issue is most likely the pump and motor assembly W10247394.
Dishwasher fills up and washes but doesn't drain will the impeller replacement fix this problem? If so I need the correct part number. thank you
You will need to get into the collector and make sure that it is clear and that there is nothing that is clogging the pump assembly and make sure that the check ball is moving freely. If these check ok then also check drain line to make sure that it is not plugged up. If all this checks ok then the pump impeller would be the most likely issue. Part number 4386996.
A plastic spoon broke in half and I can't find it The unit just hums then shuts down.
You will need to pull the pump apart and check down inside for the spoon causing the unit to stall.
My dishwasher doesn't pump and drain, made a grinding and stop pumping.
Motor still works.
Answer Hello Ted. Check and see if there is any debris in the pump and clogging it. If not, you will need to replace the pump assembly W10247394. Hope this helps.
